THE B.Ed./ D.El.Ed. FACULTY

For independent running of the course, the college has demarcated a buils up area of 1500 sq.M. from the main building. Rooms under the avobe area furmished for the Principal and his office class rooms, conference cum examination Hall, Library, Information technogy lab laboratories for general science & Lab. Bio Science for psychology , Music, Craft etc. Separate common room for boys and Girls students have been demarcated. For running the B.Ed./ D.El.Ed. faculty , new principal, teachers specialized in different subject, Lab instructor, technical , Libraian, Accountants, clerks, peons & other supporting staff have been appointed based on the recomandation of the duly constituted selection committee.

THE LABORATORIES

Separate laboratories equipped with all equipments needed for the trainees of the course have been demacated for physcis, Chemistry and biology. In the laboratory of Biology , There are different board revealing most of the events, such as parts of a plat dicot & monocot, Flowring , life cycle, Anatomy, Cytology etc. . For Zoology board containg li fe cycle of differnt animals, as well as photographs of rare animals have been provided.

PSYCHOLOGY LABORATORY

There are sevral experiments that can be performed the basic concept of Psychology. In Psychology Laboratory, therefore, all the equipments materials have been made avialable so that the trainees may learn through these. One a teacher is trained , he will decipher these information to rest of the students in the school.

THE LIBRARY

One of the important component of a college is the libarary furnished with standard books on tje topic to be tought. For B.Ed./ D.El.Ed.. faculty well furnished library has been established with about 3500 books on different topic of education. There are provisions for internet, Photostate and spaces and facilities for day study. The trainees separate cards shall be issued to the trainees, so that they may get books from the library to take it their home. However , the trainees, should havae to refund the books after a fixed period for better circulation of the books among the students. The Journals daily news paper etc. Will be avalible for study & reading in the college itself.

THE COMPUTER LABORATORY

A fully air conditioned room containg 28 modern computers has been set for the trainees. In the age of information technology, knowledge of computer is essential. Therefore, well furnished computer laboratory has been established. The computer lab has been connected with the internet. After having the basic information of computer the trainees will get much information about the recent development in the field of teachers education. They can draw or download these information from the internet so that they may get much information. The computer education will also help the trainees when they will join the school.

THE LABORATORY FOR THE CRAFTS

Separate labortory eqipped with facilites for tailoring , Music, Drawing , Card board Painting . Doll preparation, carpenter works etc. Has been estaiblished. In this laboratory students will do the work according to their chance. The Craft work is also essential part of teacher’s training. Here , they will get opportunity to reveal the hidden talent among them. Therefore all facilities will be provided to the students to take benefits of this branch.

THE AGRI – HOTRICULTURE ACTIVITES3

There is well devloped garden in the capmus. All students will have work here. They will learn about the soil, the organic compost, vermine compost, seasons plantation of different plants of hotriculture importance. All trainees will work and prepare a project related to works carried by them. They will have to describe the soil type , The compost used and seasons in which specific plants were planted. The project will be evaluated at the time of practicle examination.

THE EXCURSION TOUR

All the trainees will have to participate in the excursion tours orgainzed by the B.Ed. faculty. The place of tours shall be either a historical palce or some natural palce. The students shall have to prepare a project report based on the observation made during the excursion tour. The project shall contain how the journy was completed. What was the outcome of the interaction of the trainees with local people or the person who have come from the other parts to participate or visit the places. Finaly what massage is obtained from the place must be revealed by the students in concluding remarks.

NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME

There shall be a Natinoal Service Scheme in the college. All trainee will have to participate in the programmes organized by the above. The scheme is meant for the students, where students learn by work in the society. The social works in the society of down tordden or the most poor community of the society where the rays of devlopment is yet to reach, will help the trainees to know the life style of such people. They will share the sorrow and joy of such people by staying and working with them.

INDOOR/OUTDOOR GAMES

Provisions have been made for indoors& outdoors games . Carroms, Chess , Table Tennis will be the itmes of indoors while, Badminton , volley Ball, Football, kabaddi, Cricket etc. Will be the items of the outdoor games. Participation in the games will be considered as an extra activities.

THE SEMINAR , QUIZ, DEBATES ETC.

All students will have to take part in the above activities. The Faculty will organize seminar, debate or quiz in which students will express their ideas and concept. The will also be evaluted.

THE TEACHING JOB & LESSON

Ten pioneer school situated in the area within b kms. From the college, have been selected where trainees will be provided teaching job and lesson. They will have to prepare a job report which will bw duly certified by the principal of the selected high schools. The project will be evaluated at the time of practical examination.
